Transportation to Saratoga Springs

Located in Upstate New York's Saratoga Spa State Park, just 45 minutes from Albany, NY and less than 4 hours from Manhattan, Boston and Montreal, The Gideon Putnam welcomes guests from around the world.

All major airlines provide transportation options to and from Albany. Call 518-242-2222 for airport information.

Taxi service and car rentals are available at the Albany International Airport. For car rentals, please contact Enterprise® directly at 518-464-3685. If you require assistance in finding your way to The Gideon Putnam, please ask the associates at the car rental agency or call our front desk at 518-584-3000 for assistance.

Shuttle Service
The Gideon Putnam offers a seasonal 12-passenger shuttle to Downtown Saratoga Springs and Amtrak Station, Casino & Raceway, and any location within Saratoga Spa State Park. This shuttle is complimentary and runs daily during racing season.

Resort Parking
Complimentary resort parking is located adjacent to the hotel. Valet service is available at The Gideon Putnam during the summer horse racing season. There is also abundant parking throughout the Saratoga Spa State Park, including the Roosevelt Baths & Spa, Saratoga Spa Golf Course, Victoria Pool, Peerless Pool, Spa Little Theater, and the Automobile Museum.

Room Information

Hotel

The room block at the Gideon Putnam is now sold out and the hotel at large is mostly sold out as well. There are a few room nights available still, but if you plan to stay for most of the conference, it is unlikely that you will get a reservation for the entire stay. The hotel recommended two nearby hotels as potential overflow properties: Hilton Garden Inn Saratoga Springs and the Homewood Suites by Hilton Saratoga Springs. There are also several other hotels nearby. If you currently have a reservation that you do not need, please reach out to me directly before you cancel so we can transfer to someone who needs a reservation.

Gideon Putnam Policies
Modifications must be received 48 hours prior to arrival. The first night's room and tax are required as a deposit at the time of booking. A daily $25 amenity fee will apply to all reservations arriving from May 27th through October 31st. The fees are reflected in the total amount due but are not included in your deposit and will be charged upon arrival.

Reservations may be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 48 hours prior to arrival.

Early departures and/or late arrivals will be charged to the Individual at the contracted nightly rate for each night the reserved room is not occupied by the individual, up to and including the entire length of stay if hotel does not receive notice at least 72 hours in advance.

Spa
The hotel is next to the historic Roosevelt Baths & Spa. Established in 1935, the spa offers offers wellness in Saratoga Springs via a transforming hydrotherapy spa experience with naturally healing treatments, performed by an attentive staff known for caring and quality of service.
