2023 IAAE Annual Conference

Join your fellow state executives for networking and the opportunity to learn from each other! The 2023 conference will be held at the Gideon Putnam in Saratoga Springs, New York.   As with past years, it is our goal to make sure you walk away with valuable updates and strategies to help you in your role as a state executive.

After the meetings are done on Wednesday, join us for an afternoon at the Saratoga Race Course! Named one of the world’s greatest sporting venues by Sports Illustrated, the past comes alive in the historic grandstand every summer as fans experience not only the best in racing, but the unmatched ambience and charm of historic Saratoga Springs. Transportation will be provided to the Saratoga Racetrack where we will have three private verandas to watch the races. Upon returning to the hotel after the races,  there will be a casual dinner to close out the conference.

Group Hike
The Saratoga Springs area has dozens of nature preserves and trails for hiking and exploration. A specific route will be chosen as we get closer to the conference.  We recommend you wear sturdy walking shoes or sandals.

Golf
Join us for a round of golf on the Championship Course at Saratoga Spa Golf, located just a short walk from the conference hotel, the Gideon Putnam. This is one of the premier public courses in the Saratoga-Capital region and routinely receives 4 Stars from Golf Digest's Best Places to Play. Tee times will begin at 1:30 pm.  Fee includes a boxed lunch,  green fee, golf, $5 merchandise credit in the golf shop, and a bucket of range balls. Please be sure to note if you need to rent clubs.
